Hello!
Do anybody have any experience of disassembling the original "charger" brick? Or, in general, in converting the "110-Volt" charger into "220-Volt"?
We need here to use the 500e with ~220...240 V mains. Certainly, the easiest part -- replacing the plug -- is already done. But, judjing upon the Leaf experience, the internal power supply of the "brick" may not be suitable for 220V. As for Nissan, people unscrew the "brick", and replace the "110 -> 19V" transformer by "220 -> 19V" one.
The Fiat's brick seems to be sealed over the whole perimeter "for the centuries". No any singns of screws, latches or something. The only way to disassemble it seems to break the seal. There are a couple of ways to do this -- "freezer" or "Dremel" -- but all of them are "destructive", they will definitely destroy the outlook of the unit.
So, may be I am loosing something out of my sight? May be there ARE some screws, or "secret" latches at exact positions?
Thank you!
